NDIS Dietitian services are available under Capacity Building - Improved Health and Wellbeing, Improved daily living or Early Childhood Intervention line items or potentially core support funding - assistance with daily life. Please speak to your plan manager, support coordinator or LAC if you are unsure if you have funding for dietitian. 

You will need to complete a service agreement to accept the terms of service during or after your first appointment. There is a 48 hours notice cancellation policy. Initial assessments are minimum 90 minutes which includes 60 -90 minute appointment plus reading of reports, reviewing medical information, analysis and reviews are 30-60 minutes dependant on complexity.  Please complete the intake form when booking in.

Most Health funds provide rebates for dietitian  under extras cover. It's recommended to speak to your health fund prior to confirm rebate amount - this could be $50-$120 . All payments must be made in full then you can claim from your private health. HICAPS available at Nedlands clinic. Initial assesments are generally 60 minutes and review sessions 30 -60 minutes. Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) Adults and children

GPs can refer to dietitians for up to 5 sessions per year for chronic medical conditions - you can ask your GP to include autism or ADHD as a chronic neurodevelopmental condition which is affecting your nutrition intake. Medicare will rebate approximately $63.40 per session. Codes 10954, 93000, 93013. Please complete the intake form.

M10 Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders < 25 yrs

Paediatricians, Psychiatrists & other specialists can refer to dietitians for up to 10 treatment sessions per referral/20 per lifetime for neurodevelopmental Disorders with significant functional impairment or other eligible disability eg. Autism, ADHD, GDDCP, Fragile X, Down syndrome under this MBS M10 item. Medicare will rebate approximately $96.65 per session. Codes 82030, 82035, 93033, 93036, 93041, 93044. Appointments can be booked online, by email or via phone or text with Neurodiversity Nutrition. 

Services may be provided via telehealth (Microsoft teams), Tuesday Nedlands Clinic or as a home visit with travel and Kilometres charge or via alternative format as discussed eg. text, videos, nutrition analysis and email support only.

All Plan and self managed NDIS participants are required to sign a service agreement.

Cancellation & rescheduling; We know illness, overhwhelm and life happen so please provide at least 48 hours notice when cancelling via email or text. If providing less than 48 hours cancellation notice or non attendance at the session occurs the full appointment hourly fee will be charged. If there is other work eg. resources, letters or other tasks at your request that can be completed in that time then every effort will be made to do so.
